Our entry for the Tiny Home Community Ideas Competition, Tinyhouse, is a proposal for a sustainable community of small living units in Raleigh, North Carolina. The units are designed for a single individual, with the goal of being a stepping stone in helping people transition out of homelessness. The main components of our submission are the living units, community centre and garden. These three aspects of our design are arranged so as to help provide ample opportunity for public and private spaces, and to make the development appealing and useful to not only the people who would live there but also to the entire neighborhood.
